Jan-Erik Björk: Unbounded self-adjoint operators

This lecture will expose the construction of the spectral resolution of a densely defined and self-adjoint operator A acting on a complex Hilbert space. The notable point is that a spectral resolution exists even in the case where A is unbounded. As an example we shall consider the Schrödinger operator in the three-dimensional space.
