Boris Shapiro: On spectral asymptotics of quasi-exactly solvable quartic and Yablonskii-Vorob'ev polynomials

We study theoretically and numerically the algebraic part of the spectrum of the quasi-exactly solvable quartic oscillator introduced by C.M.Bender and S.Boettcher in 1990. The set of branching points of this model shows surprising similarities with the zero locus of the corresponding Yablonskii-Vorob’ev polynomial.
