Gereon Quick: Iterated continuous homotopy fixed points.

I will present joint work with Daniel G. Davis in which we provide a new construction of iterated continuous homotopy fixed point spectra. We also discuss simpler conditions for the existence of such iterated homotopy fixed points. These conditions apply to the action of the Morava stabiliser group on Lubin-Tate spectra which plays a central role in the chromatic approach to stable homotopy theory. Our work builds on and extends previous results of Devinatz-Hopkins, Davis, Behrens-Davis and Fausk.
