Odysseas Bakas: Endpoint bounds for operators arising in classical Littlewood–Paley theory

Abstract:

In the first part of this talk we will review certain aspects of classical Littlewood–Paley theory and briefly present some open problems in the area. Motivated in part by these problems, in the second part of this talk we will present recent results concerning sharp endpoint estimates for Littlewood–Paley square functions and Marcinkiewicz-type multiplier operators, that have been obtained in joint works with Valentina Ciccone, Francesco Di Plinio, Marco Fraccaroli, Ioannis Parissis, and Marco Vitturi.
