Michael Levitin: Sharp asymptotics for Steklov eigenvalues in curvilinear polygons

Abstract: I will describe asymptotics for the eigenvalues of Steklov problem in curvilinear polygonal domains. The results are somewhat unexpected and show surprising dependence on the arithmetic properties of the angles. This is the joint work (in progress) with L Parnovski, Iosif Polterovich and David Sher.
