Abstract: A graded algebra is said to have the strong Lefschetz property (SLP) if there is a linear form such that multiplication by any power of this linear form has maximal rank in every degree. It is known that monomial complete intersections in characteristic zero has the SLP. In this talk we will see a classification of the monomial complete intersections in positive characteristic with the SLP. We will especially focus on algebras in two variables.
