Erik Lindell: A Real Model for the Framed Little n-Disks Operad

Abstract: The framed little n-disks operad \(D_n^{fr}\) is the operad of embeddings (by rotation and scaling) of n-dimensional unit disks into a unit disk. It plays an important role in algebraic topology. In my master's thesis I studied operads in the category of differential graded vector spaces that model the operad of chains on \(D_n^{fr}\).
