Abstract

Cosection localization was introduced by Kiem and Li over a decade ago and has become an important tool in enumerative geometry. I will speak about joint work with Adeel Khan, Aloysha Latyntsev, Hyeonjun Park and Charanya Ravi where we explore cosection localization from the point of view of derived algebraic geometry. This has the advantage of making connections with shifted symplectic geometry as well as allowing us to work over fields of positive characteristic (in the presence of a \((-1)\)-shifted function).
