Christian Emmel: Reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces

Abstract.

Reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces are function spaces on which point evaluations are continuous. In this talk, we give a brief introduction to their theory and discuss the Hardy space H^2(D) as an explicit example. If time allows, we will also talk about Model spaces, which constitute an active field of research in analysis.
