Alan Sola: Level curve portraits of rational inner functions

Abstract: In joint work with K. Bickel (Bucknell) and J.E. Pascoe (Wash U) we analyze the boundary behavior of rational inner functions on the bidisk by studying their unimodular level curves, and obtain both analytic and algebraic-geometric descriptions of such functions near singularities.
